I have to re-post this picture for pure entertainment. I love this guy.

I normally don't get mushy on this website but I have to write a little love letter about my wonderful husband. Last night I overheard Scott and Brooke laughing upstairs after he got home from work and it struck me at that moment that it was the most emotional sound I think I have ever heard (other than hearing Brooke cry right after she was born). Hearing the 2 most important people in my life having such a great time...there is no better sound. It got me thinking about how I am constantly amazed at Scott. He has juggled so much over the past couple of months and still walks in the door everyday with a smile on his face and ready to spend time with us. Our life over the past couple of months has been adventurous and exciting...but at times, a little uncertain. He has always made me feel at home by constantly telling me that the only thing that matters is that we are together as a family. He is such a kind and honest person, who only wants the best for people. I feel like the luckiest woman in the world to be married to such a strong, hard working, fun loving, interesting, easy going, family loving man.

Scott, I love you with all of my heart. You make me smile everyday.

GO PHILLIES!!

We are SO excited about the BIG win last night!!! We wish we could be at the parade tomorrow!!

Good times...

Saturday afternoon, Pete DeCarlo, Scott's good friend from college, came into town to stay the night. Pete goes hunting in South Carolina every year and came to see us before he headed to meet his hunting crew today. It was so much fun seeing Pete. We wish we could see him more often!! We're excited for his wedding in August!! Yeah....
Pete was so sweet to Brooke...
Scott, Brooke, and I went to Chimney Rock Park today up in North Carolina. It was BEAUTIFUL!! Such a great time of year to go there with the leaves changing and weather still mild. We stopped at Grandad's Apples to get some hot apple cider and pick out a bunch of apples. Of course we had to take some pics with the pumpkins. We had no idea that North Carolina was such a huge apple grower. There were apple orchards everywhere.

She's trying to figure out what is going on?!!

It was such a nice view...

Caden's 2nd Birthday Extravaganza!!

Last weekend we went to Alpharetta, GA to celebrate Caden's 2nd birthday! The birthday party theme was Thomas the Train and Caden looked absolutely adorable in his little train outfit. He and all the kids had so much fun. Great party!!! Here are some pics from the whole weekend.

Brooke kept climbing on Adelyn...it was the funniest thing because Adelyn kept trying to get Brooke away from her!! (you would think it would be the other way around!)

Mimi's Visit

Let me start by saying...WHEW........ the move is almost over. We moved into our house last week and are almost all settled in. It feels nice to take a deep breath every so often. Last weekend we were SO excited to have Scott's mom, Susanne (also now known as Mimi - she was formerly Mom Mom Suz but we all switched it this weekend!) in town. It was so great to see her and she was such a HUGE help. She is so wonderful with Brooke and teaches her so much. We got a good bit of the house stuff unpacked and Scott and I went out by ourselves for our anniversary dinner. It was a so nice to have a night out with just the 2 of us (4 wonderful years!). Brooke loved having time with Mimi by herself. We miss you Mimi!! We cannot wait to see you next month for the birthday celebration! Miss B in her Vail hat that Uncle Jamie got for her...

Forster Visit

Aunt Judy and Uncle Kurt came to visit this weekend. It was their 1st trip to Greenville and it was a great weekend to show them around. The weather couldn't have been any better and we were excited they got to see our new house. It is always great to see them and we're excited we'll see them again next month! Uncle Kurt and Brooke hanging on the front porch!

I had to throw this one in here....this was after her nap this afternoon... I went in and she was just like this...I just am loving the bed head these days!!

Caden's New Haircut

My sister sent me these pictures of Caden getting his haircut for the 1st time at a "kids salon". Lisa normally cuts his hair but it was time (and he had SO much hair) for him to go see a professional. I just loved these pics and had to share! He's looking a little nervous ...
"I don't know about this Mom?!!"
"MMMMMOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM!!!"
"Don't I look like a stud?! What?? It was nothing." :)
