Mama Suz comes to visit and Brooke's dance recital

 

Scott's Mom came down from Pennsylvania to visit and come see Brooke's dance recital.  She arrived on Friday which was Brooke's dance rehearsal downtown.  Brooke had to have a bun, full makeup and costume for rehearsal so Presley was not having it without her joining in the fun too! We had to do her hair and makeup too! (She is wearing Brooke's recital outfit from 2 years ago!)

 

 It has become tradition now that my bestie Candace does Brooke's bun the day of her recital.  This year she raised the bar and did an incredible bun! She put a SOCK in her bun..so cool!

 My sister and her family made the trip over from Atlanta to come see Brooke.  It meant so much that there were there too!

We had such an awesome visit with Mama Suz and miss her already! 

Pop Pop and Mom Mom come to town!

My Dad and Edie came to visit over Memorial Day weekend and we had a blast!  Edie was such a good sport and got in the freezing cold water with the girls both at our tiny baby pool and at our neighborhood pool!  The girls had so much fun with them playing, reading and just hanging out.  We also put my Dad to work when he was here helping Scott build a platform for the girls play house.  Thanks for all your help, Dad and Edie!!

 

 

Adelyn's Recital

We went to Atlanta a couple of weeks ago to go see our niece, Adelyn, in her dance recital.  She did a jazz routine and did awesome! She had a blast up there and my girls loved seeing her!  It is so great being this close to my sister and her family to be able to go things like this!!

 

Pops comes to visit!

 

Scott's Dad "Pops" came to visit in the middle of May. He was such a huge help to us while he was here helping us with so many projects around the house!  He helped us clean out our entire garage and built a work/tool station.  (For those of you who know our garage you know how much help we needed!).   The girls absolutely adore him and loved having him here.  He and Scott took them to the Children's Museum and spent good quality time together.  We miss ya, Pops! (Unfortunately this is the only picture I have because Pops was taking pics with his camera instead!)
