March for Babies Walk

On Saturday, we participated in the March for Babies walk in loving memory of Caroline and Emma Basquill. My best friend from college, Brooke, and her husband, Justin, lost their twin girls at 20 1/2 weeks on January 22, 2008. Scott, Baby Brooke, Roxy, and I walked with 18 of our friends in their honor. We had a great day all together at the walk and then we had everyone over for lunch afterwards. As a team we raised $140o!! Thanks to all of you who contributed. We really appreciate it. These were the pins that Scott and I wore.

Big day in the Garrett household...Solid foods were introduced to baby B! Well...I should say rice cereal was introduced. So fun..she did well...at first she was so confused but she slowly got the hang of it. Had a great day after that - went to the park with Laurie, Lillie, and Emilia- went to lunch with Nana- went to the park with Amy and Kaitlyn. Life is good...

She is loving Roxy these days. Anytime Roxy walks by her she giggles and/or smiles! I think she was trying to offer Roxy some cereal...

Blissful Day

Yesterday was one of those days when I couldn't wipe a smile off of my face. It was a perfect day here...SUNNY and WARM (I know, I couldn't believe it either), and got to spend time with some great friends. Brooke and I took a long walk with Lauren and her son Dalton at a park in between our houses. Then, Amy and Kaitlyn came over for dinner and some playtime. It was the 1st time I got to see my godbaby walking!! She is a pro already! Just chillin in the sun at the park...

Forster Family Visit

Aunt Judy, Uncle Kurt, and Jill came to visit us from Sunday thru Tuesday. This was Jill's first time meeting Brooke! We had a great visit... Aunt Judy taught Jill a new version of Old McDonald had a farm...it's now "Uncle Donald had a farm!"....it was great to see you guys!Aunt Judy feeding Miss B!
Uncle Kurt was working with Brooke and her left hand. We can already tell she is going to be right handed and we were working to get that left hand grabbing things too!!

Puerto Rico...

Scott and I headed to San Juan, Puerto Rico last Wednesday and were there through Sunday. We had a fantastic trip with great weather, great food, and great company!! Nana watched Brooke while Mama Sus, Ms. Manley, and Carole all came to hang out too!! The 1st night at the welcome reception...by the pool!!
