Mama Suz came to visit in August!

 

Mama Suz came to visit right before the kids started school and we had a great time! We are so excited for she and John John to come for Thanksgiving!! Can't wait!

 

Summer Wrap Up

 

This was such a fun summer and I am now finally getting around to posting a few more pictures!

This was such a great summer and there were lots of fun things that happened.   Mama Suz and John John got married, Brooke learned how to swim, Presley loves the water and is getting better at swimming, Presley turned 2, Presley's vocabulary really picked up, Brooke learned how to do the monkey bars, Presley learned how to ride a bike and it was overall a big summer.  It makes me sad at how fast these two gals are growing up!!

Mama Suz and John John's Wedding

Scott's mom got married back in June on a beautiful day up in West Chester, PA.  The girls were the flowergirls and it was so much fun to see them all dressed up and looking so pretty.  We are so excited for she and John...they are a wonderful couple.

 

Ahhh....vacation!

As I am sitting here typing this watching the PGA Championship, I'm dreaming that we are back at the beach.  We stayed in Seabrook Island, which is right next to Kiawah Island (where the championship golf tournament is being played) and had a wonderful week.  We went with our family friends, Jenny and Matt (and their 2 awesome children), Ms. Manley (my 2nd Mom growing up), and my Mom.   We had such a great time on the beach and at the pool everyday. I truly felt like I had a relaxing vacation (which these days doesn't happen much)!!  The grown ups got to play golf, which was beautiful and so much fun.  I miss the Brokaws and Ms. Manley!!

Had to add this in here.  Tiger Woods brought his yacht up from FL for the PGA championship and parked it at a marina in Seabrook.  We went over to see it before we left.  It is HUGE. Just look at the boats next to it to really see how gigantic this yacht is.  :)

My birthday!

Celebrating my birthday this year was really fun with my family.  Both girls were so excited that they got to go with Nana to pick out my cake and they got to sing me happy birthday!  I feel like one lucky gal and am looking forward to another great year!!
